Honoring Our Legacy
Each of our endowment funds was established in honour of someone who gave their time, passion, and heart to the Stavely School. Their names live on through the students they continue to support.

This annual award recognizes student citizenship in a deserving Grade 6 student. It celebrates the young leaders in our community who demonstrate character, kindness, and service to others.
The Florence A. Wilford Scholarship Fund
In 1993, the estate of Florence A. Wilford left $45,000 to establish an educational scholarship for students of Stavely School. For many years, the fund was administered by trustee Jack Marshall, whose dedication ensured that student after student received the support they needed to pursue their education.
After Jack's passing, his family reached out to the Stavely Education Foundation and asked if we would carry on his legacy. It was an honour to say yes. The Foundation began presenting the Florence A. Wilford Scholarship in 2019, and we are proud to continue what Florence and Jack started — giving Stavely students a hand up as they step into their futures.
